The Piggeries  
The Piggeries, as its name suggests, was created from the original piggeries to form a luxury self catering holiday cottage for four in Lancashire. The view across to the Cumbrian coast and Lake District enjoyed by those bygone pigs was spectacular by day and magical at night, and remains no less so today. On New Year's Eve, fireworks can be seen for miles around from the comfort of an armchair before the woodburning stove.

The cottage possesses a very special charm and is feature rich. It is a detached single-storey stone building with open garden areas and seating to the front. The rooms are open to the original rafters and feature exposed beams in the walls.

There is a large open plan living / dining / kitchen area with a fabulous hand-painted ' Mark Wilkinson ' kitchen. Sky television is provided. Two sets of French doors open out into the garden area.

With one double and one twin bedroom, the cottage can sleep four plus a cot. Both rooms have full length doors opening out into the garden.

The accommodation is completed by a very attractive shower room with walk-in shower, wc, wash basin and heated towel rail.
